This is the Web listing for the BCA Technical Advisors. This listing is provided as a service for BCA members. Please include your BCA number when contacting any Tech advisor. If you are not a member of the Buick Club of America (BCA), please join. If you are not a member you may contact an advisor, but it is up to each advisor to offer to help non members. When you contact advisors please keep in mind that these people are volunteering their time to do this. Please show them the courtesy of contacting them as they have listed. If you contact them by mail, send a self-addressed stamped return envelope. If they ask to be contacted by phone, please remember the time zone differences. Please be very specific in your request.
The Tech Advisors will try to provide the following:
- Information on a model or item covered by factory literature. This will prevent anyone at a meet from saying ” you told me this” and there is nothing to substantiate the item as correct.
- Exceptions to this might be internal items that could be done to an engine to keep them alive on today’s “good” gas. Or a possible substitutions for an item that is not available anywhere.
- Tech Advisors are not expected to find parts for you.
A good guide for information is the BCA Judging manual. This contains a lot of information.
NOTE: The BCA is not responsible for the information provided by Advisors, nor a guarantor that the information is correct. Advisor information is based on factory Literature, but it is your responsibility to ensure anything used in restoring your car is backed by factory literature. You must have proper factory documentation should questions arise during judging.
